In the current global crisis characterised by uncertainty, fear, hopelessness and anxiety, Art continues to function as an antidote, and the Artist’s goal is of paramount importance in grasping the essence of human values.
After all, the Artist’s life is symbiotically linked to his Art: effort, work, pain and suffering co-existing with joy, emotions and sensations, all of them unique to his personal context.
The purpose of the Artist is to propose reflection on the divine and the human, to detect the imperceptible changes associated with our becoming at a time when our horizon is constantly changing.
The Artist conceives Art as an act of rebellion against the sheer insanity of daily events by means of which we, humans, keep demeaning the World: climate change, migration waves, cultural deficiencies, social inequity etc. Living in this World, where things are not what they should be, the Artist has to try hard and find the meaning of living in a way that makes the values of good work fully achievable.
The artist creates from his idealistic trenches, from the factory of his dreams, from his imaginative isolation. Good and bad experiences, joys and sorrows – all mixed up in the laboratory of his mind, triumphs and failures, getting lost and being found anew. “
